The following RNA polymerase assays in a 384-well plate format are available:
Bacterial RNA polymerase assays
Two types of bacterial RNAP assays are available: one is to measure RNA synthesis, the other is to measure DNA -dependent pyrophosphate formation.
E. coli RNA polymerase assay: A fluorescence-based assay to measure RNA synthesis by E. coli RNA polymerase using a single strand DNA template.
E. coli RNA polymerase pyrophosphate assay: A light absorbance-based assay to measure pyrophosphate formation during RNA formation by E. coli RNA polymerase using a double-strand DNA template.
S. aureus RNA polymerase assay: A fluorescence-based assay to measure RNA synthesis by S. aureus RNA polymerase using a single strand DNA template.
S. aureus RNA polymerase pyrophosphate assay: A light absorbance-based assay to measure pyrophosphate formation during RNA formation by S. aureus RNA polymerase using a double-strand DNA template.
E. coli Polynucleotide Phosphorylase (PNPase) Assay: A fluorescence-based assay to measure Poly(A) synthesis by E. coli PNPase using ADP.
